Meet the Doctors

Dr. Andrea Autorino

Dr. Andrea Autorino attended the University of Connecticut where she majored in animal science. She received a D.V.M. degree from Tufts University in 1986 and has practiced veterinary medicine ever since. Andrea worked at area veterinary hospitals for 11 years, but never stopped dreaming about opening her own clinic, where she could provide her patients with the best veterinary care. That dream came through in April of 1997, when Double A Veterinary Hospital opened it's doors for the first time. Thanks to you - our clients and our furry patients, we are making that dream happen.

Dr. Taryn Gervais Pina is a Connecticut native, born and raised in Hartford County. Taryn completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and Environmental Science at Boston College, and then went on to obtain her D.V.M. from the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Upon completion of her veterinary degree, Dr. Gervais went on to pursue advanced training in equine medicine through a one-year internship at the New England Equine Medical and Surgical Center in Dover, NH. Thereafter, she practiced as a mixed animal veterinarian, and later an equine veterinarian, before joining the Double A Veterinary Hospital team in 2015. Taryn is thrilled to be joining the practice that her cousins and friends have raved about for years. Outside of work, Taryn enjoys spending time with her husband John, her family, and her friends, playing with her dog Bentley, running, gardening, and traveling when she can.

Dr. Allison Lynch has an impressive background in animal science and veterinary medicine. She began her journey at the University of Connecticut, where she majored in Animal Science. After completing her undergraduate studies, she joined Double A as a technician in 2015. She enjoyed her time there so much that she decided to return after attending veterinary school.
To pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Lynch enrolled at the Royal Veterinary College in London. She dedicated four years to her studies and successfully graduated in 2021. With her newly acquired veterinary degree, she has now returned to Double A and is excited to work with our clients and their pets once again.
In her free time, Dr. Allison Lynch enjoys working with her own dogs, training them for dog sports. This indicates her passion for canine athleticism and the bond between humans and their furry companions. Additionally, she has an interest in traveling and exploring new places. Lastly, she finds joy in quilting, which can be a creative and relaxing pastime.
Dr. Allison Lynch's dedication to animals, her education, and her range of interests make her a well-rounded veterinarian. She is likely to bring her knowledge and enthusiasm to her work with Double A's clients and their beloved pets.
